Nose
Earthy mineral notes, aniseed, vanilla, sea salt, lemon zest, granola, dried banana and the signature threads of industrial dunnage peat smoke.
Palate
Viscous and mouth coating texture. Notable flavours of grapefruit syrup, orange pith, white marshmallows and a prominent briny minerality. Can take quite a few drops of water without affecting the structure or depth of flavour in the whisky. The water brings out more citrus flavours with grapefruit and lemon meringue pie.
