Berry Bros & Rudd Single cask

Nose

Bold arrival due to the high ABV. Spicy with nutmeg and ginger. Herbal honey, lavender with sharp orange peel. Resinous whiffs from the Oak casks.

Palate

The Moscatel shows more forward with orange cake and honey. The spices are equally as forward as on the nose with cloves white pepper and ginger. Malty notes with marzipan and dried fruits on the finish. A very slight sulphur note coming from the cask. Definitely benefits from a drop or 2 of water to calm the high ABV

Maturation

Bourbon casks finished in Moscatel Sherry cask
